LETTER OF APPRECIATION TO ANGOLANS

(ANGOLA HALL CHAIRMAN ELECT)
Greatest Angolans! In the interest of the collective interest of this hall and for the continuous existence of our Union in the protection of the interests of Angolans, we have all spoken through our votes. I really appreciate those that voted for me and even those that didn't, it just a matter of conviction. I must confess that the circumstances I find myself in assuming this post today are uncommon, sober and reflective because of the dilapidating state the hall is in.
However, the events of the past have put to the teat our collective resolve as believers of democratic principles. I am very delighted to note that the occupants of this hall has demonstrated their resilience and unity of purpose. Today, with the mandate you have collectively given to me, I have been afforded the opportunity to reconnect and overcome any suspicions, hurts and doubts which had occurred. In all these, there are no winners and no losers because by the grace of God, we have again succeeded in moving this hall of residence forward.
With unity as students and our love for the bedrock, there is hope that the future of the bedrock of OAU militancy (ANGOLA) cannot be shaken. It is now time for us to move on in a more determined manner to tackle the various challenges which is confronting our hall of residence(ANGOLA HALL).
It is on this basis I salute and respect all that we contested together (Blazing, Big Shola, GreatBello, Omoluabi and Prophet Jeremiah). I see them as partners and not as opponents. The progress we seek is in our collective hands and I am confident that with this spirit of national reawakening and our sense of collective ownership of the bedrock, a firm foundation has been laid for participatory governance and progress.
I appreciate your support, vote, and even those constructive criticism, it all kept me moving and I promise to never let Angolans down.
Indeed Angola would be better again
