Nigeria is in a battle to prize Ademola Lookman
away from England.
The 19-year-old has played for England’s U-19
and U-20 teams, but is now wanted by Nigeria,
who he is also eligible to represent because of
his parents.
Lookman’s representatives have held talks with
the Nigerian Football Federation officials last
week about his international future and Super
Eagles handler, Gernot Rohr, is now planning to
meet the forward to convince him to choose
Nigeria.

Rohr is hoping to have the player available for
next month’s friendly match against Senegal in
London.
Lookman moved to Everton in January for
£11million and has made an instant impact at
the club. He scored minutes after coming on for
his debut against Manchester City and has
started their last two games.
