ANGOLA HALL CONGRESS!!!
      THE RESOLUTION

RESOLUTION OF THE HALL CONGRESS HELD ON MONDAY MARCH 27, 2017

_FROM THE OFFICE OF THE GENERAL SECRETARY:_

“THE STRENGHT OF A NATION DERIVES FROM THE INTERGRITY OF THE HOME”-CONFUCIUS.

Angolans came out in numbers to grace the last congress held at the level of Angola common room, although it came to them in a short notice.
The congress was held so as to discuss pertinent issue as regards this great hall of residence.
The issues stressed include;

•Security of Angolans
•Butteries and Barbers exploitation.
•Inactiveness of some hall EXCOs
•Water and electricity issue

SECURITY OF ANGOLANS
_Safeguarding the life and properties of Angolans is one of the germane issues raised during the campaign to executive offices and *AK-WIZDOM* led administration has been working tirelessly to making sure Angolans can sleep with their two eyes closed._
_One of the things discussed was to set up a working security committee. The temporal security committee has been working tirelessly to make sure Angolans are well secured._
_They have successfully apprehended some evil doers and Angolans have done the tradition (maximum shishi)._
_The security team also sounded a note of warning to evil perpetrators to desist from such act as they are assuring them that they would soon be caught._

Ever gallant Angolans submitted that;

(1)All illegal entry to Angola Hall should be blocked.

(2)Every Angolan should be security conscious and vigilant.

(3)That the Acting security team should be clearheaded, device new tactics and be transparent in their case moderation.

(4)The traditional “maximum shishi” should be adhered to strictly prior to the ‘minimum shishi’ criminals have been given in recent times by the students union security committee

(5)Hemp smokers should desist from smoking in bushes around the hall as anyone caught would face the wrath of law.

(6)All illegal gathering should not be tolerated by the Acting security committee.

(7)The Acting security committee should note that they aren’t superior to any student as every Angolan by the virtue of his studentship is a member of the security committee. Only few were just chosen for the sake of moderation and orderliness.

EXPLOITATION FROM BUTTERY OPERATORS AND BARBERS IN THE HALL
_The HEC uses this medium to reiterate that the welfare of Angolans is the most paramount and any form of exploitation from any quarters shall not be tolerated._
Ever conscious Angolans submitted that:

(1)Any buttery that exploits Angolans shall be shutdown with immediate effect.

(2)The students’ union welfare director in-conjunction with the HALL EXECUTIVE COUNCIL should conduct a market survey of goods and paste a general price list to checkmate any form of extortion.

(3)Angolans concluded that barbing should cost #150 if there is electricity (if at all the barbers still use the generator) and #200 in the absence of electricity

WATER AND ELECTRICITY PROBLEM
_It is no news that Angolans are seriously suffering from erratic power and water supply, bad connection of electric cables, lightning of rooms and environs._
The Hall Executive Council promised to demand for an improved living and welfare condition (which include the above) for EVER MILITANT ANGOLANS.

INACTIVITY OF SOME HALL EXECUTIVES
_Ever conscious Angolans raised the issue of neglect of duty shown by some hall EXCOs._
AK-WIZDOM in his wisdom said neglect shown by some hall EXCOs can be traced to;

(1)Ongoing Examination

(2)Lack of fund to carry out some statutory duty

(3)Lack of necessary equipment                                                                    
```_The concerned EXCOs promised to deliver good and quality services as promised during the electioneering process to ever gallant Angolans._```

_We sincerely apologize for the late release of this CONGRESS RESOLUTION, pleading to ANGOLANS to consider the jam-packed examination timetable._
