The Super Eagles, forward, Ahmed Musa was mobbed at Abuja by excited fans who were happy about his contribution to super eagles team at FIFA world cup 2018 group stage of the team.
Ahmed Musa was surrounded by the fans at Abuja while observing Jumaah Prayers at National Mosque Abuja.
However, it has been gathered that some super eagles players has been leaving their Essentuki Camp Base in Russia after crashing out of FIFA World cup competition on Tuesday after losing by two goals to none against Argentina.
According to director of communication for Nigeria Football Federation(NFF), most of the players have left Russia for their respective bases.
Players who have had their early exit from the camp include team captain Mike Obi, Odion Ighalo, Victor Moses, Kelechi Iheanacho, Leon Balogun, Alex Iwobi, Kenneth Omeruo and Tyronne Ebuehi.
While those that remain at the base include; Daniel Akpeyi, Ikechukwu Ezenwa, Francis Uzoho, John Ogu, Chidozie Awaziem, Oghenekaro Etebo and Simeon Nwankwo.
Moreover, Ahmed Musa, joined the elite class of players, winning the Budweiser Man of the Match, at the FIFA World Cup in Russia after his brace against Iceland.
The Nigerian No7 became the second African player to score a World Cup brace, after Roger Milla in 1990.
