Super Eagles star Victor Moses finally breaks silence after Nigeria's defeat to Croatia

Chelsea superstar Victor Moses has expressed disappointment following the Super Eagles 2-0 defeat to Croatia in the opening Group D encounter at the Kaliningrad Arena on Saturday.
Oghenekaro Etebo gave the Croats the lead after scoring an own goal in the 32nd minute while a Luka Modric’s second half spot kick sealed the victory for the European country.
Having met for the first time at the senior level in this competition, the Super Eagles failed to match the experience of the Blazers in the meeting.
And the Blues wing back says they have learnt their lessons from the defeat and will bounce back to winning ways in their next game against Iceland next weekend.

Moses was on the pitch for the entire duration of the game but the Croats were able to contain the Chelsea man from wrecking their defence.
Meanwhile, with yesterday’s defeat, Nigeriaare condemned to win their final two group games against Iceland and Argentina to stand a chance of reaching the next round of the competition.
The former Liverpool forward was part of the Chelsea team that won the English FA Cup title following their 1-0 win over Manchester United at the Wembley Stadium on May 19.

The three-time African Champions were beaten 2-0 by the Croats with goals from Oghenekaro Etebo and and Luka Modric powering the European team to victory.
It will be recalled that Gernot Rohr’s men booked their ticket in this year’s global football showpiece, but their performance yesterday night showed that Nigeria were tactically unfit for their opponent.
