I am in OBAFEMI AWOLOWO UNIVERSITY (Great Ife) currently.
A 300 level student,Studying History/International Relations


Can you tell us more about your musical career, like lay emphasis on music You have recorded so far

Well I'm a Hip Hop artiste by default,i also like to switch it up sometimes,nothing wrong with a little variety
I am a versatile artiste,a singer,a songwriter but basically rap
Been doing music for as long as i can remember,but started recording like two years ago,and i have recorded alot of songs,just waiting for the perfect time to dish them out.
Buh i do alot of freestyles,and cover of songs just to get more attentions and also to have a strong fanbase

so you mean you have'nt officially release any song yet?

Any plan on releasing more songs?

Yes, sure like i stated earlier,i have couple of songs on ground ,but surely when the time comes i will surely dish them out

Can u like give a specific date or month or range of when your fans should expect more from you


Well as y'all may know am always​ available to give them the more anytime anyday smiles

 So in music industry today, can u tell us about four artiste u looking forward to or ever wished u like him/her

Pardon me as i wouldn't want to mention names,but then i look forward to every responsible ,well mannered and good artiste in the music industry
Of cos i dont hate any artiste

Fast forward to the future, who r those big artistes u would love to work with?

Have u received any award so far? If any tell us about it

Yes sure, but i got the biggest one so far this year
I got nominated for *NIGERIA CAMPUS AWARDS(Whole institutions in Nigeria)* this year,Most promising Artiste and i won,me being the only Oau artiste on the award nomination list,so basically, that shows that this year has been all about elevation for me because if by the beginning of the year anyone had told me that your singles,freestyles will be doing this good, you will have this level of recognition, I would have found it hard to believe.
I also got nominated for other ones too outside OAU at the moment, if i win i would be happy,and if i dont i would still be happy atleast i was noticed

So can u tell us as an upcoming artiste what has been your challenges so far?

Hmm just normal challenges upcoming act do face ... Financial ish and then promotion issues too
Am not signed to any label yet,so most of my projects has been based on my personal funds,reason why i take my time and make sure wheneva i drop a song it worth it

Regarding being signed to a label... Av u even been offerered a deal on dat or tried creating a chance for urself?

Sigh well something like that
Earlier this year,i recorded a song titled *"Believe"* in lagos ,i myself dont know why i havent released it officially,But then about 3months back one of those producers chatted me up telling me he listened to the song and he loves the lyrics and the fact that its a motivational song he would love me to always record in the studio without me paying a dime and wheneva am ready they will support me by footing the bills for the Visual for the *"Believe"*
But i believe God is still at work.... Gods plan lol

So do you ever thinking of putting the offer into consideration?

You are obviously a promising artiste with some fans, how do you cope with them,especially the ladies?

Its not challenging atall,because am discipline,with restrictions,we can be friends but there is always a line to everything.Business is business,if you appreciate me as a fan,i will show you all the deserved love in return without necessarily going *Below the belt*.As music acts,we are role model,people look up to us so we have to have some level of moral value attached to our lifestyles.
Moreova have been the ladies man since i was a day older,so i know how to handle it...

What is your own personal take on Nigeria music industry?

Well,the Nigeria music industry is growing at a rapid speed,we have to be more structured,respect eachother and give more room for new artiste coming up.More private sector participation is also critical,More government support,enabling environment and empowerment is also needed

Do you want to say that popular artistes don't give room for upcoming artistes like you?

You know its synonymous to nigeria government ,lets take the forthcoming presidential election as a case study,we have buhari and atiku of Apc and Pdp vying for this post even at their old age of early 70s, does that mean the youths like (Sowore) cannot do better if they get there?.But the major issue now is how to get there
Same thing applicable to the music industry,we have to strive so hard to get there aswell as it is obvious the big fish in the industry aint ready to vacate that seat for the upcoming ones
But am optimistic with hardwork and of cos with the epp of God we all can get there too

As a student studying History/International relations any plans to put that into practice in future?

It all depends on what the future holds. A lot of people believe that people who do music cannot do it forever,i just feel that aside from what am studying,it is just good to have an educational background you can always fall back on no matter what happens.Because i will get to a certain point where i will no longer be able to perform as an artiste on stage and all that ,so with the knowledge i get from History/International Relations i could also do some other things aside from Music.
There are definitely plans to use that knowledge in the future

Are you inlove with any lady,you in a relationship with anyone?

Hmmm lets keep that on a low for now
But then i could say am inlove with my Music

Anything that people dont know about you?
Well i dont watch series (No game of thrones and all that)
I dont smoke aswell,neither do i drink,except soft drinks like Coke...lol
Yea i know m weird,but that's me for you

Have you ever encounter or lemme say meet with any celebrity? And if yes, how do you feel meeting with them?

Smiles have met with alot of celebrities ,i was at the last headies award night and i really had a nice time sitting together with them,even to my greatest surprise just after the headies award night,i was endorsed by the well known Nigeria comedian *Woli Arole* in the video we had together,and so many like that
Its just God's grace and favor

Many but few to mention Ichaba Dmw,Chinko Ekun,Olamide ,Reekardo Bankz,Lyta,Ycee,Mayorkun Etc.

Ever signed any ambassadorship deal?

Yes sure
Was made an Ambassador for the *Nigeria Campus Awards* just about two months ago

What advice would you give to up and coming artistes?

Patience and humility would really take you farther,it goes way beyond having the talent and love for music.
Also what you take in is equally as important as what you give out.listen to good music if you want to make good music
